On Friday, May 30, Evan was an honorary ring bearer for my cousin Kaycee's wedding. It was so exciting just seeing our little guy in a tux! What a little stud!!
TOO CUTE!!!
David, Kaycee, Alexander, Evan, and Addison.
Addy had the stomach flu all day, so she was feeling terrible :(

Sunday's storm (May 25, 2008)
Right when we thought the storm had passed, we heard a constant "rumble" and watched as the earth became completely still and a bit green-like. Then the hail began falling from the sky and we ran to the basement to take cover. This was the tornado that hit Hugo, near Mary and Lance's house, where 200 or so houses were hit or destroyed, and one 2 year old baby died. :(
Our house is a bit dented, our NEW roof
probably needs to be replaced again, and our plants are destroyed. There are leaves everywhere, but luckily, we are fine and our house is too.
Here is Evan holding a piece of golf ball size hail.
"Can we get the sled out, Daddy?"

2nd birthday....party #1
Evan didn't understand the concept of "his" birthday. Therefore, I had to open all of his presents! Thanks everyone!
Evan's grandma, Miss Jenean, made this awesome, huge birthday cake. I got to be two years old all over again.........I had to blow out Evan's candle! (He doesn't understand how to blow yet.)
Cake and ice cream...........mmmm. Yummy!
Evan and his little buddy, Easton. I love two year olds and their hugs!

mamamama's day
Evan calls me "Mamamama."
For mother's day, we had lunch with Ben's family, and dinner with my family. Before dinner, we went over to the park at Golden Lake Elementary for the first time this year. Evan was so proud of himself that he could go up the steps and down the slide all by himself. I think I was prouder!
Evan loves wagons. This is the old (vintage!) Radio Flyer GT we had when we were kids. It's just not the same, or as safe as our newer wagon. It's quite shallow. Evan's wagon is deep enough to have a door and two benches!
And can you imagine that my dad would go running with us kids in the wagon??!!

karate lessons
A few weeks ago, we had Katlyn and Kiana sleep over. In the morning, Kiana had karate lessons, so we all decided to go with to see what it was all about.
Here's Katie with Evan. She loves holding him. Sometimes I think she thinks Evan is her doll.
For some reason, Evan liked going over to all the colored tiles and touching them.
Here is Ana, closest to the camera in the blue. I was amazed how much gear they put on to "fight."
