ski show

Every Thursday night at 7 pm, The Bald Eagle Waterski Club puts on a free show at Waterworks on Centerville Lake. What a great way to spend the last day of July! Perfect evening! Awesome talent! Evan sat and watched it for the entire hour :)

The show was rather a skit. The host told the King Arthur story and the skiiers were the characters. It was quite cute!

The pyramid we were all waiting for!

Rainy day play date

This morning, while it was raining, we played at Callie and Easton's. Don't you love how Evan vacuums?! This was his favorite toy at the Cody's.
Callie (3 1/2), Evan (2), and Easton (2). Evan's mad dash for the vacuum.
Strike a pose! Callie modeling her fancy skirt, earrings, necklace, and ring!

Remembering G.G.

Evan loved his Great Grandma Betty Erickson. He called her G.G. She loved him just as much.

Yesterday, July 29, Ben's grandma passed away at a hospital in Florida. She was 89 years old. Her awesome sense of humor will be greatly missed. We love you G.G.!

7+6=13

Yesterday, July 27th, was our 6th wedding
anniversary!

We were together for 7 years before we got married, so in total, we've been together for 13 years! That's as long as it takes you to go from kindergarten to 12th grade! The funny thing is that we still feel like we're kids!

To celebrate, Ben and I went downtown for dinner and to see a show at the Guthrie Theater called "Caviar on Credit." It was SO GOOD, and so cheap....only $10 a ticket! It was a fabulous experience! The Guthrie is a neat place to check out!
This is the view from the 9th floor--Dowling Studio, where the show took place.

dress up

Evan became obsessed with Daddy's shirt this morning. He calls it "Daddy's tit". Oops. Anyhow, he took Ben's shirt out of the laundry basket and carried it around the house like a blanket....loving it so nicely.

Minneapolis Sculpture Garden

This was on my list of things to do this summer. I've always wanted to see the big cherry and spoon, so today was the day. Ben took the day off from working on the deck and we took Evan down to see all the art.

What a perfect day!

We could actually "play" on this art!

It's a boy!!

Mary became a mom on Friday! My mom and I went and decorated her house before she got home from Wisconsin (that's where the breeder lives).

This is Mary and Ludo. He is 3 months old. Isn't he adorable?!
Evan is not quite sure what to think about
"Dudo."

Daddy's work

Ben got a new "room" at work.........his very own office. No promotion, just a relocation. We had to go visit him on Thursday while they were moving the office around to get Evan's sandals that were in Ben's car.

"papa ma-more"

This is one of Evan's favorite passtimes this summer. He loves to climb up Papa's lawn mower and fake drive it. Seriously, he does this everyday....about 3 or 4 times, if not more.

1st time canoeing

My dad brought over their canoe they had when I was a kid. We decided to take it for a spin for the first time tonight. Evan sat like a big boy---all by himself in the the middle seat. He never even tried to get out. I think he liked being up close and personal with the other boats and jet skis in the water!

4th of July

We went up to Velva, ND for our annual trip. They have a great parade for Independence Day. Evan loved it!
Getting candy for the first time!
We went to the petting zoo at the park. It was quite the experience for US too!
We goofed around outside all day long.

What a great weekend....except for catching the stomach flu. Almost the whole Gerger clan got some sort of it.

Thanks Selzlers----you were fantastic hosts!
