It took him one solid week, but Evan finally decided to hold Braden for the first time on Saturday.

Our new little man

Braden Kenneth was born on April 4, 2009 at 5:35 am. Ben and I arrived at the hospital at 5:15 am, and he was born 20 minutes later! We barely made it! The delivery was quick and very painful. Braden came 2 weeks early. He was 6 pounds 8 ounces and 19 inches long.

Evan likes to say, "Be nice to Braden," as he pats him. He still does not want to hold him though.

Braden got Evan this motorcycle and a few other toys when he came home. Evan loves it, and he's not afraid to go fast. Don't worry....after we realized that, we convinced him that he needs to wear his helmet.

Playdate with Reese

Reese isn't shy about digging right into Evan's toys--something that Evan doesn't do. I hope he learned how to really PLAY from little Reesie!
