Here are some close ups of Evan soon after he was born. We finally named him on day 2 of his new little life. Evan means "young warrior," and Ben really liked that. I just thought it sounded good with our last name. Plus, I had only taught one other Evan in my 4 year teaching career, and he was a little cutie! Evan's middle name is John, after my grandfather, John Gerger, who passed away in January of 2006.
